Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will manage the administrative duties associated with nursing support for youth in out-of-home care. You will help the program ensure youth get their care in a timely manner and that we are meeting their health and well-being needs. You will report to the Senior Director of Nursing and will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Call established providers and arrange for medical appointments in timelines laid out by regulations.
- Ensure the program has documentation from each medical provider visit.
- Call insurance companies to request prior authorization for new medications.
- Assist in tracking and obtaining consent for youth.
- Make provider visit packets including face sheet, list of current medications, and consent forms.
- Triage phone calls to the nursing unit and direct them to the proper nurse.
- Assist in ordering medical supplies.
- Keep electronic medical records up to date including recording scheduled appointments, results of visits, and provider documentation.
Requirements and Education:
- At least six months of experience.
- Medical Assistant certification.

Certified Teacher Assistants - Sign On Bonus - $1,500
As a Teacher Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher in all aspects of teaching, behavior management, and supporting students success in school. You will report to the Preschool Supervising Teacher and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Assist the teacher in devising special strategies for reinforcing material or skills based on an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities; create and modify materials to match student abilities.
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials to match student abilities.
- Monitor student behavior and help maintain discipline in the classroom; record behavior data as requested; assist with crisis prevention; assist with de-escalation techniques with students.
- Assist in the implementation of behavior plans (BIP); recording behavior data; and the completion of incident reports when requested.

- Assist in the implementation of Pyramid Model principles and practices in the classroom to build social and emotional competence and to support children through nurturing and responsive relationships and a high-quality environment.
- Attend meetings, training, professional learning sessions (e.g. first aid, Pyramid, CPR, emergency procedures, behavior management) for the purpose of enhancing professional skills, competencies and to meet regulatory requirements (OCFS regulations require 30 hours in 5 areas over 2 years).
- Perform various clerical duties; maintain records of student progress; develop and file incident reports; maintain student files; check daily attendance; make copies; develop classroom displays and instructional material; maintain and operate computers, smartboards and other classroom equipment.
- Collaborate with teacher and other staff to incorporate information provided by parents, doctors, nurses, therapists and others in order to understand the needs of and provide services for students.
- Assist the teacher(s) with the administration of appropriate assessment tools, tests, and other curriculum measurements.
- Always monitor safety and well-being of students; monitor student attitudes and encourage positive behavior and interactions with peers.

As an Administrative Assistant with Foster Care and Prevention, you will perform clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers. Assistant Athletic Trainer
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This is a 12 month position.
Supervisor: Head Athletic Trainer/Student-Athlete Program Director
Position Purpose: Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the athletic department by providing care to student-athletes including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Union College sponsors 26 intercollegiate sports, 24 in Division III, with Ice Hockey competing at Division I. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Treatment: Develop and implement injury prevention programs. Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary. Evaluate and diagnose athletic injuries. Design and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured student athletes. Provides therapeutic treatment such as taping, bracing, and modalities.
- Communication and Collaboration: Educate student athletes on care and prevention of athletic injuries. Provide guidance on proper conditioning techniques. Communicate effectively with coaches and student athletes about injury status and progress. Coordinates with physicians and healthcare providers as needed.
- Administration: Provides support with the daily operations of the athletic training room and assists with the supervision of work study students. Electronic medical record keeping of athletic injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field required. Master’s degree and experience with National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) regulations and compliance knowledge preferred.
- National Athletic Trainers Association certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers.
- First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automated External Defibrillator certifications required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Physical requirements: Ability to engage in various physical activities, which may include lifting items of different weights of 25 pounds and more, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Must be a licensed athletic trainer in New York State or eligible for licensing in the state of New York.
- A valid United States driver's license or eligibility for licensing is required.
- Strong computer skills and an understanding of electronic medical record keeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.

Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $48,000.00-$52,000.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Candidates must have a PhD degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated evidence to produce original and innovative scholarly work with publications in premier business journals. The successful candidate will join the School either as a tenure-track assistant professor, or as an associate professor, based on teaching and research experience and success. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated potential and commitment to effective teaching in our graduate and undergraduate degree programs in supply chain and business analytics, as well as provide service to the School of Management and to Rensselaer. The position requires excellence in research in the area of supply chain and analytics, effective written communication skills, and strong technical skills in areas such as analytical modeling, data management, machine learning and computation. Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and Blockchain and in topics relevant to global shifts in supply chains would be a plus. Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. As a Teacher in Training, you will be responsible for development of classroom instructional plans for students and support student's success in academic and behavioral goals. You will report to the Principal and work on-site.
Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist, you will bill for the program and services of Northern Rivers and Affiliates. In addition, you will collect on aged Accounts Receivable for Northern Rivers and Affiliates. You will report to the AR Coordinator and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly or quarterly billing for a variety of programs and services governed by contract or grant agreements.
- Review and apply payments received from vendors.
- Collect on aged Accounts Receivable balances on a recurring monthly basis and follow up with multiple payers to effect cash collections of accounts.
- Complete and file fiscal reports on a timely basis in accordance with contract or grant agreements.
- Gain knowledge and proficiency in the billing systems utilized by our organization.\Prepare accounting journal entries and reconcile accounts as assigned.
- Act as back up support to team of A/R billing specialists.
- Prepare analysis, reports, and other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Director of Finance or CFO.
